After returning to the mainland from Phu Quoc island, we crossed the border at Ha Tien to Kampot. The twenty dollar visa (according to the price printed IN the visa) actually costed twenty five dollars, plus a dollar stamping money PER STAMP. And, as I found out, if you don't pay the exact amount, don't expect change.

Kapot is a very nice, quiet riverside town that is great for lingering for a few days. We made a trip to Bokor hill station (see album coming up) and a few other excursions, but the (culinary) highlight was our daily chicken in blue cheese at Piggies, a local restaurant.
